NDBC HF Radar DAC WAF Management #82

HF Radar DAC has 0 WAFs/datasets.

@rsignell-usgs HF Radar DAC services from the Scripps THREDDS server have been added, but the ISO output from ncISO doesn't appear to include the service links. So unfortunately probably of limited use.

Will have to investigate why there are no services in the ISO metadata. Here are the records: https://dev-catalog.ioos.us/organization/hfradar-dac.

There's a temporary harvesting workflow in place until we can work with Scripps for a more permanent solution.

Is the NDBC THREDDS server registered? We need at least those two services registered. (NDBC and SIO).

So... I left this one open because neither of these providers is generating the metadata on their own. We're currently reading their ncISO service endpoints from a script running on one of the data.ioos.us servers I was given access to and getting the ISO from a couple of WAFs there. It's not the ideal end state, but I haven't yet reached out to the data providers to fix.

It's the same with NDBC and CO-OPS SOS. I need to get them to run on their own (although since Luke/ASA is running the sensorml2iso processes to support those, I feel a little better about that in terms of longevity).

Scripps' ncISO service doesn't currently include service endpoints, so that metadata is of limited use. Separate issue there. You can see records lacking services here: https://data.ioos.us/organization/hf-radar-dac

I'll add a task to the to do list to remind myself to follow up on this...

Could we move this to a different release or is it still incomplete to the extent that we should still consider the milestone incomplete?

Removed release tag for now.

Pull in @kbailey-noaa if you need some involvement from NDBC to make this happen.

Contacted NDBC in regard to future WAF generation/management. Will be added to future SOW for NDBC to manage their own WAFs for both the HF Radar DAC and SOS services. Removing milestone label and moving back to backlog.

This issue has lingered forever and unlikely any action on the NDBC side. Current status for record keeping is:
