gold standard netCDF file examples for CF-1.10 & OG-1.0? #1054

There are a bunch of CF issues here. If would be helpful if there was a suite of netCDF files to test the CF-1.10 and OG-1.0 against much like NCEI has done for templates and also referenced here.

An impetus to move this forward is the latest ERDDAP now is referencing use of CF-1.10.

The CF specification has lots of examples embedded in the documentation. Does anyone know of a repository of examples for CF that exist today in netCDF or cdl forms?

The answer is there are a bunch of existing tests within the test directory as well as a bunch of CF tests ready to go. Start with those and work on updating/adding to those from the CF issues that exist.
