Could someone please contribute a Matlab example that uses subsetting and compares two datasets?

I just contributed https://github.com/ioos/comt/blob/master/matlab/cbofs_efdc_comparison.m, which compares CBOFS and EFDC, including subsetting. It should produce the plot shown here: 8-6-2014 5-51-16 am
