Do datasets added on COMT automatically appear on NGDC Geoportal? #31

Do datasets added on the COMT THREDDS catalogs at http://comt.sura.org/thredds/catalog.html automatically appear on the NGDC Geoportal at http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/geoportal/catalog/main/home.page?

I think @brianmckenna asked this question in e-mail a few days ago and I forgot to respond

Yes, currently the datasets added to http://comt.sura.org/thredds/comt_1_archive_summary.html are picked up nightly by geoportal.

The testbed data that is harvested is listed here: https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/docucomp/collectionSource/list?recordSetId=5039661&componentId=&serviceType=&serviceStatus=&serviceUrl=&search=List+Collection+Sources

And of course we could add other catalogs to this list by following the instructions on the IOOS registry repo
