Project Description

This is a follow-up to a breakout group discussion from the DMAC meeting:

[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1W1MV9yXpw22d9f5Ui4cgYXAn05v89InlFDG6AaqgEbY/edit?usp=sharing] (not sure who has access to that ....)

It is NOT well fleshed out -- but discussion here:

https://github.com/orgs/oceanmodeling/discussions/18

Hopefully we can flesh it out before the sprint.

@ChrisBarker-NOAA @saeed-moghimi-noaa @SorooshMani-NOAA For this year's Code Sprint, does someone want to take the lead on this topic? Will this be a topic to execute during the sprint or somewhere else?

Expectations for topic leads: Leads are expected to identify a plan for the code sprint topic, establish a team, and take the lead on executing said plan.

For more information on how topics will be selected see the contributing guide

@MathewBiddle, as I mentioned before, I don't think I have the capacity to lead a session for code sprint. Also I believe I will be joining remotely, not in person (although I initially registered in person)
