In this PR:

removed geopandas from the dependencies b/c it was not used anywhere
added both pandas and pyparsing as direct dependencies b/c those where being pulled indirectly
use the standard library json when simplejson is not installed and made that optional to avoid a compiled wheel
added numba, (py)nco, and bokeh as optional dependencies
