This issue can be marked as complete. This is related to issue #27.

Thanks, Meg. Some documentation or a data flow chart about what the process is, would be good to publish somewhere.

The AniBOS data committee is working on that. We're developing a user guide/manual which will include various flow charts that we hope to make public in the coming months.

There are also some Axiom and other DAC generated flow charts floating around (for example this one and this one) but I'm not sure if these have been posted publicly.
