Hey, this has been superseded by remoteManifests in okh-config.json.

ok.... should have been mentioned in the commit where it was removed. this list is relied upon by external projects as it was.

why is the new list so much shorter?

It's de-duplicated from the manifests that are already in one of the other remoteLists. This is all from the NLNet sponsored work of setting this up as a federated system. The instances can add projects independently and they can be mirrored in other instances as desired.

Maybe I should have linked https://search.openknowhow.org/manifests/list.json which has the full list of manifests included in this search.
