Crash on unload if game wasn't loaded

Jungle Timer for the LoL game. Second edition. First was on ansi C with dirty hacks. New edition uses D3D9Proxy dll and CPP with boost.

If logo of LoL appears, but game window isn't shown, and user clicks "Cancel", game closes, but with crash.
