Cap Current Range Reading #24

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to increase the current range. I'm using the max range but it's not enough for my use case, the reading I do saturate very fast. Would it be possible to go from 1000µA to 10mA ?? Thanks for the help !

Device Information : Firmware Version : FW0.0.9 Hardware Variant : 10V_microAmpV0.2

The current range for each programmable range, e.g. ±1uA, 10uA, 100uA and 1000uA, is set by a feedback resistor in the transimpedance amplifier. Each range has its own resistor which is selected from firmware via analog switches. So it is possible to change (increase/decrease) the full-scale range for a given setting, but this would require making a hardware change on the device. In addition you would need to make a corresponding change to the device firmware in order to get the correct values for currents.

There is a higher current range version of the Rodeostat available with ±10uA, 100uA, 1000uA and 10000uA current ranges https://iorodeo.com/products/rodeostat-hc

Other options to reduce the current might be to reduce the area of you working electrode and/or reduce you scanrate.
