By the end of the implementation, gardyn should be successfully connecting to MQTT server, publishing data as mqtt messages and able to get command or update schedules by subscribing to specific mqtt topics

I'll need to investigate, but are you thinking telegraf to mqtt or db to mqtt?

I think we should still have a REST API

I was thinking mqtt to communicate between the device and the things board and connecting the home assistant with the device

I didn't think yet about how to integrate that with db or any other data stores
