Hello, everybody,
Unfortunately I made a mistake and can't get my IOTAs anymore. When I try to send my IOTAs, I always get the message Error: Private Key Reuse Detected! My address is exhausted and sending is no longer possible. Tried the following already: Reclaim tool command-line wallet
This is the following address which is exhausted: LG9GUTWBSYPSTEKLUKR99VGHLEHAVQHRVMQQSJIIMYNVMNXOA9JIIUYQRESRXGMAEDQDDMDLBCOYGYHWDHXMA
I would like to thank you for your help in advance
P.S. I have one more point to note about improvement. It should be possible to send an e-mail or a ticket to IOTA support without searching half the internet.
Hey @Maik78 , what exactly do you want to do? Send or receive IOTAs from your wallet?
LG9GUTWBSYPSTEKLUKR99VGHLEHAVQHRVMQQSJIIMYNVMNXOA9JIIUYQRESRXGMAEDQDDMDLBCOYGYHWDHXMA
This address doesn't exist on the Tangle. You can test it here: https://thetangle.org/
Try to explain your situation and I will try to help you step by step.
When trying to send funds from wallet I get the following message:
You are attempting to sign a transaction with input that have an already been used. IOTA uses Winternitz one-time signature (W-OTS) scheme, due to it's one-time
nature, the security of funds in an address decreases rapidly if you re-sign new transactions using the same key. Please wait for previous transaction to confirm, e.g. by promoting/reattaching, before sending another transaction.
I don't understand the message "using the same key". I am only entering a newly generated receiving address of Bitfinex. What to do?
Hey @John-29 , that's the address reuse protection error, which is due to technical reasons. But everything ist fine. At first, you have to wait until your last transaction is confirmed. If you want to, you can post your last transaction address or the last transaction hash and I'll have a look into it.
After your last transaction has been confirmed, you can send IOTAs again.
Thanks for your reply. Sorry, this wallet function is new to me. I have no unconfirmed transactions showing. What is the "transaction address" you are referencing? Is it the address I am trying to send to? I am sending to Bitfinex, and I have generated different addresses three times, but getting the same error. Thanks again
Hey @John-29 , at this at the moment Bitfinex seems to have a problem with the deposit and withdrawal of IOTA.

This is the error message I'm currently getting.
Are you able to send IOTAs to a different address? So is this only a Bitfinex problem or can you generally not send IOTAs?
I have not tried sending Iota to a different address. I don't think the Bitfinex maintenance issue applies to me, since my attempt to send transaction was several days ago, and I tried sending on different daysI'll try again later andlet you know. Thanks for your efforts. John
