at first update to 2.4.0 and then to 2.5.1. #344

I have not use my iota android wallet since June. Now there were updates and my balance is zero. Now my question, do I have to generate at first a new seed with 2.4.0 and then the update to 2.5.1 or should I put my old seed to 2.5.1. and generate new adresses?

Thanks a lot for you help in advance.

Use your old seed in 2.5.1 and generate a new address.

This is not working...I tried it yesterday with both versions 2.4.0 and 2.5.1 and some other have the same problem...I think the problem is 2.4.0 is not really working anymore and there is no migration from an older version to 2.5.1 --> not very trustful from IOTA

It worked for me. You may have to generate a few before it works (I saw one case where someone generated 1000)

it is not working...no IOTAs until now...

@tantalos11 You need to do the transition. Have you done the transition yet?

Yes, it is not working...and I am not the only one...
