Wallet shows correct balance but pending for 13 days #459

Hello, I am in a very difficult situation and desperately need help. Here is a synopsis of my case so far:

  1. I purchased IOTA on Bitfinex several months ago
  2. I installed an IOTA wallet and transferred the balance successfully from Bitfinex to the wallet 28 days ago
  3. 13 days ago, I opened up my wallet and found a zero balance. After resarching a soulution, I installed the updated wallet (2.5.3) and entered the seed, and the complete balance was visible in the wallet. I didn't notice if it was pending or not
  4. 2 or 3 days ago, I opened the wallet and saw my complete balance, but noticed that it was pending.
  5. Currently, my wallet shows the correct complete balance but is still pending. I've tried changing hosts, rebroadcasting, clicking on "Receive" and pushing the "Attach to tangle" button and the response is "request error"
  6. Currently, on iotasear.ch, I can see the confirmed transaction of moving my IOTA from Bitfinex to my wallet, and the unconfirmed status of the 'transaction' that occured when I installed the new wallet 13 days ago. I have tried using the IOTA balance finder tool, but when I'm in Powershell it doesn't recognize the command "npm install". Please let me know if I am leaving out any important info. If you have any ideas about how I can get my IOTA confirmed, it would really be appreciated -- I am extremely scared. Thank you.

I got npm install to work. Now I have another problem. My seed is not 81 characters, so the tool won't work. Is there any way that I can get my IOTA to confirm?

it is a shit wallet, i lost all my iotas

I'm sorry to hear that. The solution to my problem was just updating the wallet. There were two updates in close succession and the new one (2.5.4) is showing my correct balance confirmed. If you haven't tried updating your wallet, it might work. Good Luck!
