I can't open my wallet #634

I'm using 2.5.0 version and whenever I try to open my wallet it would show "Can not connect to remote node or Connection Refused". Please help! Thank you!

Same for me, I'm using 2.5.4 and it says: "No connection" and "Could not connect to remote node". I'm using the custom node from the iota support. Should I change it?

Same for me. Version 2.5.4 and when i open the wallet, i don't even get an option to add my seed. Screen looks the same, but the seed input box is entirely removed. This wallet would have to be the worst thing to hit cryptomania.

Hi, I was hitting the same issue today, and I finally got connected by changing the wallet server (Tools -> Edit Node Configuration - list of servers). Currently I'm using http://node01.iotatoken.nl:14265

Does it matter which Node I choose? Does it have any affect like rebalancing or reattaching?

Thank you, it worked for me too. I've done this before without success so didn't think to try it again. I will remember to try this first in future.

IMO some servers are experiencing hell of a load for past few days and this is the result. Hopefully it gets more stable in the future. I'm glad it works for you!
