Stuck Transaction For Weeks... #660

Hi team,

My buddy has had an issue with a transaction on his IOTA wallet. Basically the issue is with the double use of a private key. He's sent a transaction of 84 mIOTA to Binance that is now hung up (Not in Binance, still showing up in wallet). The transactions has been hanging around for weeks. We can't transact from his wallet at the moment

Is there any way one of you guys can help with a stuck transaction?

Ignore that transaction like it doesn't exist.

Go to edit node. Try changing the node (tip look on Slack and go to node or support channel and see if you can find one that was recently verified to have issued a transaction confirmation).

If your minWeight is at 14 try 15 or vice a versa. Reattach, wait 30 minutes, rebroadcast. Log out, log in. I've heard people fooling around with this up to 20 times and all of a sudden it work. I had a similar experience where reattaching for two days didn't do the trick and after messing around with the nodes a bit I reattached, walked out of the house and like 10 minutes later or so received word that the confirmation went smoothly.

I think these 4 servers are likely the best available. I used the first one from Germany and so happy now. Found advise from Korneto02 and it worked for me and lots of others who could not log in. I was so stressed out and now feel like a million $$$. Try this and post if it works for you. I think it likely will. hey guys it worked for me go to these site https://iotasalad.org/nodes.... use the nodes there and try all of those, go custom the host and change curl implementation to ccurl...it takes a while like 20-30 minutes says logging in, you just have to wait

Thanks for the feedback you guys! We do appreciate it. Though the problem still exists. We cannot move the transaction out since the first to be broadcast was never confirmed. The funds still show up in the wallet, but cannot be moved.

Honestly, at this point he is just trying to free up his IOTA. If anyone is willing to sit on a Hangout and help us out that's be great! Anything to learn more about Tangle and it's cogs & wheels.
