IOTA a SCAM or more? #681

Did IOTA foundation generate an abundance of fake news to get the coin pumped?

Someone needs to flag this for offensive content. The link does not connect to a story about a 'bounty on the head' of anyone and the Medium story is the scam. Actually, that place is known for fake news. Anyway, most of the stuff in there is old and debunked or addressed. Please do not use Github issues as a medium for your trolling (Reddit, Twitter, Trollboxes for that) and let's stick to technical issues on here. Many, many of the people who volunteer on this issues page are enrolled in super-stressful STEM disciplines and it is finals week.

Instead of acting like this, we all should be thanking these people for dealing with stresses and concerns that don't directly affect them. I suspect that next week there will be more available techies.

100% disagree with your comment (except STEM).

IOTA purposefully generated trading interest with fake news such as partnering with blue chips etc. People jumped on it, positioning them on spot 4 for total market cap and totally collapsing the exchanges. Knowingly they weren't prepared for such volume of trading and knowingly did not communicate via social media and thus leaving many in a black hole. Their wallet is difficult to use at best and most people don't even get it.

Bitcoin, altcoins have a long way to go in terms of scaling and IOTA is probably the worst of all out there right now. They need to be held responsible for screwing people over. Bunch of lobotomized retards they are.

Okay, that's a fine opinion. But 1.) this is not the forum (Github/Issues), 2.) This forum is to be kept free of ad hominem insults. Take to Twitter for that please.

Boys, boys, boys, please take the ad hominem name calling off of the Github/issues page where people are wading through large amounts of text to try and help people out. We have a wonderful slack Chanel, twitter community, and underground back alleys on Reddit for this kind of talk. :-) But at least the insults on here are somewhat Shakespearean. @phouverneyuff OMG. It is not a partnership, it's a pilot project that died on may 2017. It's a same partnership as I wrote my own framework on IOTA. they even not set up github account for this framework on github. Look at the article - the github link is broken (already died) https://github.com/marleyg/MSFTLabs/tree/master/DevTestBaaS

PS I found only one same looking repo https://github.com/tomconte/MSFTLabs and last commit was made on May 17. It is dead.

In present time Marleyg repo containts Bitcoin, Etherium support and lack IOTA totally
