How do you get back your iota after wallet upgrade #709

so it´s not safe to upgrade wallet? You can lose your IOTA balance?? WTH??? I never heard of a wallet with all these problems, seriously...

i got robbed im sueing IOTA WALLET there is a class action the wallets aint secure it was a transfer i didnt do and the guy had a seed that mocked me it said iota stolen fuckyou over and over with a bunch of 9s

Snapshots are native to DAG databases.

If your account has been hacked it’s because of your seed has been compromised.

If your seed has been compromised it is because of the way you stored it insecurely, the generator you used was corrupt, or you entered it online in a fake site.

never entered it anywhere at all i did the wallet upgrade and it was gone look at the address of the hackers wallet in the pic i never gave my seed out to anyone not even to the police

Dude you will be banned from github if you do not stick to technical issues. Go to Reddit or twitter if you’re gonna troll. That address and claims associated with it have been discredited. I am going to submit a pull request to close this case unless you want to stick to fixing your problem. The wallet has not been hacked. Individuals making dumb decisions may have made themselves vulnerable.

Now, walk us through what you’ve done? Have you begun the transition or is your complaint that you were “hacked?”

DJ Scooby, if I see you appear on another issue page not seeking technical assistance but instead running around spreading discredited stories of hacks, then I will request that the administrator band you. I receive notifications for all issues and I notice when the same user pops from one page to another not seeking advice. Go to twitter, facebook, or reddit for trolling.
