When I try to attach to tangle - receive invalid response meessage

Hi My IOTA wallet does not seem to attach to a Tangle? Gives me invalid response. I am planning to purchase IOTA. Please Help

I finally got it attached this morning. Basically just keep at it at random hours.

Randomly worked for me too about 12 hours ago after trying several times over the past two days.

I have the same issue, I think, I have tried with a number of hosts and at many occasions, I can login, but I have never been able to attach to tangle. I have bought IOTA at https://www.bitfinex.com/ but I have not been able to transfer them out to my wallet. Sone two weeks now... Running Windows 10 and IOTA Light Wallet 2.5.4 - IRI 1.4.1.2

Try to connect to another node. Bitfinex is overloaded Anyway it must be improved because sometimes my balance is 0 for a lot of minutes when i load the wallet. After a day the transaction in iotasearch is still in unconfirmed status also if the balance is correct. It is creating a bad status also in the owner :)

FWIW: I was having the same issue and I just had to find "the right node" (one that worked for attaching) and boom!

First step I had to chose the Curl instead of the default webgl 2 curl ... : This helped me login second: I had to change the : this helped me "attach tangle"

I have tried reattaching to tangle multiple times and its still saying invalid. I have signed in and out too, same thing. Can anybody please help me to resolve the 'invalid response' I'm getting when I try to attached my address to tangle. I have already sent a transaction from binance but it's pending.

I'm on the IOTA Light Wallet 2.5.5 - IRI 1.4.1.6
