Prerequisites

If you are not suggesting a feature, you must be able to check all of the following (place an x inside the brackets to check the box). If you cannot check all of the boxes, this issue should not be reported on GitHub as it is not a bug:

Description

[Description of the bug or feature] Iota Light Wallet 2.5.6 unable to show Letters at the end of the seed input field when the valid 81 character seed was input. This account was fully recovered and functioning with the Iota Light Wallet 2.5.3.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. [Open the Iota Light Wallet 2.5.6 set up file]
  2. [Copy and Paste original Seed that worked with Iota Light Wallet 2.5.3]
  3. [Noticed the familiar Capitalized Alphabetic Characters are not displayed after Pasting the original 81 Character Seed. ]
  4. [If Login is clicked on the process appears to be attempting to login but after 1 hour of waiting I said this is just not going to work as it has in the previous versions. Expected behavior: [Capitalized Alphabetic Characters should have been displayed at the end of the seed line after Pasting the original 81 Character Seed.]

Actual behavior: [Capitalized Alphabetic Characters are not displayed after Pasting the original 81 Character Seed. ]

Versions

[Windows 7] [Wallet Version 2.5.6]

This issue has been resolved. The 81 character seed was working with wallet 2.5.3 and all MI had been reclaimed using that wallet. The previous wallet version 2.5.3 was used to make another attempt to login. No characters appeared at the end of the Seed input. Went back to the version 2.5.6 wallet and attempted to log in again. This time the characters appeared after the seed code was pasted. Login completed in less than 15 seconds and the balance was intact.
