Thanks for the proposal! The team has reviewed this proposal on 6/5 and here is the feedback:

While we like the idea of IDEA, we would like to discuss the form of DEX that halo would like to sponsor. The order-book based DEX was great but lacks liquidity which stops traders from using these types of DEX -- there are multiple alternatives to consider:

rollup-based DEX where many txs are matched off-chain to the max extend while the settlement happens on the chain
orderbook-less DEX such as uniswap where one trades with the pool with algorithm-calculated prices and market-makers can inject assets into the pool to share the trade fees and so on
