2 years ago My thought for this page was to allow anyone from the group to display their game project(s) on this page. I was thinking it would be a grid view, with information about a game in each grid cell (something similar to this page). I was also thinking it could be nice to randomize the order of the projects each time the page is loaded, to avoid showing any bias by having some projects always show up at the top and others at the bottom.
We'll have to come up with required information for people to send us about their games. Something like:
- An image or GIF representing the game, with a required resolution, aspect ratio, and file type.
- The name of the game.
- A description of the game. We probably should give some guidelines for suggested length.
- A link to the game website, or to the creator's website or social media. Not sure if we should just allow one link or multiple links. But there probably should be a max number.
Similar to what I said for the Resources page, we could probably use a Jekyll Collection for storing and reading the information. And like I mentioned there, we could use the Pencil app for mockups, or we could use a different approach for the design process if you'd like.
