Currently only gaussian used

Pulse models appear only in fake pulses. But if we knew model - would it help to search for pulse?

Never mind, as you don't have such information a'priori.

If we knew we could calculate profile of pulse in "DM - frequency averaged DM-dedispersed dyn.spectra" plane and use it in classification step (binary classification case: 0 - noise spikes, 1 - pulse spikes).
