Persisting hostap changes #8

Anyone figured out how to get changes made to the hostap config to persist? It seems that while you can set it, then restart the hostap daemon and it works for a short while, after a few hours something resets the config.

There is a daemon that monitors and restarts the whole other services if needed. As far as I can remember, It uses a binary configuration file that is saved on /mnt/Flash to control what will be fed to hostapd -- once I get home, next week, I'll check it out. I never tried anything more advanced like creating newer or more networks beyond the airport utility capabilities, I suppose it is possible, though. I remember that, when I managed to build some packages, hostapd was one of them, but never got the chance to test it. I was quite sure that should not work. Probably the Apple version embeded specific code for its own WIFI controller.
