Bit of background: http://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/group-in-toronto-races-to-archive-u-s-environmental-science-before-trump-takes-power-1.3208217

Is this something that could be more robustly solved by IPFS?

Does anyone have links to the kind of people who might be currently involved in the archiving effort?

Pinging @flyingzumwalt since he is working on "Instructions for Saving Endangered Data " (https://github.com/ipfs/community/pull/216)

I posted the finished version of these instructions on Medium: https://medium.com/@flyingzumwalt/instructions-for-saving-endangered-data-its-time-to-get-decentralized-23fb96aa8179#.8dwx0jlop

Please pass it on.

We're very aware of this issue and ready to help.
