Target Venues That Can Meet the Following Requirements:

• 3-4 Breakout Rooms
• 1 Large Room to fit expected attendance (60-100 people)
• AV capabilities: screens, projectors, lighting, mics
• East Berlin (maybe)
• Fun/options seating (like bean bags); not a hard constraint.
• Food & Beverage: breakfast (hot, if possible) and lunch every day. Coffee, tea, water, juice & refreshments in the meeting space.
• Hotels nearby (at least two) that can accommodate the respective Room Blocks

We have requested pricing and information and they are WELL aware that we are very interested and currently are holding the dates for us.

Why are we so excited about this place?

• Came highly recommended from BlueYard; they recently went to a developer event there and I was able to speak with the coordinator of that event about the space and their experience.
• Have done (many) tech events before.
• Lots of multi-flex spaces and really unique feel
• Onsite food, beverage, lighting, AV (they’re tech team is pretty great, based on the work I’ve seen)
• Lots of hotels nearby that could accommodate our housing needs.
• Already has a stage and great stage lighting.
• Several breakout Rooms.

Do we have other options, just in case? Yes, there are a few other places available. We are tracking all venues in this spreadsheet.

The fact that this venue came recommended by Blue Yard is promising.

Things to check:

• get opinions from @hsanjuan and @lgierth about the location
• make sure we can get hotels that are a very short walk from the venue
• get @jbenet's thoughts before it's too late
