- Had to fight a lot of issues, mainly CSP and CSS styling
- Used iframes to get around CSP
- Lifted state to the background
- Used message passing to communicate between iframes
- Used shadow-dom to get around CSS styling issues
- Enable/disable/loading/error state in browser action + state restoration
- Development niceties, such as automatic reloading when code changes
- Had to fight a lot of issues, mainly CSP and CSS styling
