@lithic You're more likely to get a response if you explain why you think this is a good idea and how it will benefit the project. At the moment all you've done is issue a demand, and as this is an open source project the maintainers (of which I am not one) have no obligation to follow it. They obviously added Google Analytics for a reason at some point, so you may want to take that into consideration and suggest an alternative for them to use.

Hi @lithic, we're currently using GA to optimise a few experiments in order to improve our content and require the advanced segmentation + events flow views to achieve this successfully.

I have deployed a patch to respect your browser DNT rules, which I feel should fulfil this request. Once enabled you will be excluded from all of our measurements.
