London IPFS

This Issue is a thread for IPFS-related meetups in London. We held a great session with Juan after the DevCon Ethereum conference in November 2015, and having settled in to my startup (R3CEV.com) I'm able to host some more in 2016. But my bandwidth is limited, so if you have an idea and proposed date for a topic then please post here, and I can organise space at https://www.wework.com/locations/london/spitalfields and free beer :)

If you want to keep track of any upcoming events without proposing one, please click on the Subscribe button on this issue.

I will close the Meetup.com group (we don't use its features enough to warrant the upgraded costs needed by the group size) and email all members with this Issue.

Thanks Pascal. I think the organiser is Paul Ferris, who you know. I don't have time to organise any IPFS events, so on the one hand I am pleased to see someone do this, but am surprised if it is Paul

The IPFS London initial meetup was a good start in getting organised and we have got some help promised for future meetings. These meetings will hopefully have Pascal available to give his great introduction to IPFS, and also we should be able to have some examples of use from people there last night. We'll get a location sorted, we thought perhaps big enough for 20-25 people? Is that enough capacity? If anyone would like to help out, or can talk about their experiences, do drop us a line.

96 members - we held a meetup at the end of the summer - a good evening although everyone would look to be closer to the City next time.

We’d support a Jan’17 IPFS meetup, and be happy to supply the drinks pizza again if required.
