[MICROGRANT] Web3 Image Hosting

1. What is your project? (max 100 words)

This project is an image hosting service.

Users upload their images, and get links to share them on social networks or other platforms (bbcode forums, html pages, markdown).

This application was inspired by sites like Imgur, ImageShack, but in a decentralized version.

2. How will IPFS, Filecoin, or related technology be used for this project? (max 100 words)

Images are stored on the IPFS/Filecoin network. The application uses Web.Storage API to upload files.

3. How will you improve your project with this grant? What steps will you take to meet this objective? (max 200 words)

I will :

• Buy a domain name and deploy application in production.
• Add possibility to copy/paste images
• Add a widget displaying last uploads for user (based on ip/browser signature)
• Add an admin screen to show all uploads.
• Add google analytics
