1. What is your project? (max 100 words)
Orphic Verse allows users to visualise a food menu in 3D we will feature various zones where users can discover Celebrity Chefs, Food Brands and Virtual Restaurants. Designed like the real world, the Orphic Verse features various geographical areas like the beach, forest and lakeside, and you can explore the open world at your will.
There is also an exclusive gaming zone, with activity areas for customers to explore, earn, collect and battle. The platform is incredibly unique and offers the end-user with so many opportunities to explore food.
Orphic Verse allows users to claim Dish NFTs from across the world, by collecting Ingredients and following Recipes to mint exclusive NFT artworks. Dishes include global cuisines, festive specials, keto and vegan-friendly recipes, as well as signature recipes from celebrity chefs and restaurants.

2. How will IPFS, Filecoin, or related technology be used for this project? (max 100 words)
We believe in a decentralised future and in Filecoin's vision thus for Orphic Verse Decentralized storage is an extremely essential part of the project, because the infrastructure for this platform needs to enable NFTs with trustless operation, faster speeds, lower costs, improved security, and nearly 100% uptime all of this is solved by using IPFS.
Data needed to run the Orphic Verse, includes all data relevant to the player experience. For starters, all information about their avatar’s appearance this includes customisable aspects like hair, skin colour, height, and accessories for all this we use IPFS.
Then, the digital property symbolised by NFTs – from land plots to digital objects – will require safe and reliable storage space, too. And, there is data on the overall user experience. This can include how much time one has spent in various worlds, which unlocks token gated content: better, new, or different experiences based on the achievements and reputation of the owner. For a seamless user experience (UX) IPFS again takes care of our concerns.
3. How will you improve your project with this grant? What steps will you take to meet this objective? (max 200 words)
Any funds received from the Filecoin Foundation would immediately be used to hiring graphic and 3D designers for redesigning the Orphic Verse website along with tweaking the UI of the web app.
We are also looking to upgrade our photogrammetry setup which comes at a cost. This would include better lights, turntable, tripod & DSLR accessories.
In the future we would also be seeking to apply for an open grant which would allow orphic to scale and expand globally.

The project is open source & MIT licensed.
5. Do you agree to share grant reports upon request, including a final grant report at the end of the three month period?
Indeed, we are planning to work closely with the Filecoin foundation and are willing to provide reports as and when required by the Filecoin foundation.

Orphic verse is in compliance with the IPFS Code of Conduct. July 5th, 2022.
