docs: link to non-beta docs site #162

Closed johnnymatthews closed 4 years ago

johnnymatthews commented 4 years ago

The legacy IPFS Docs site has been deprecated, so links to docs-beta.ipfs.io will auto-redirect to docs.ipfs.io. This PR doesn't change much from the user's perspective, but it makes things a bit tidier.

@johnnymatthews I was checking the website and I still see the old version, hence I just get an error when opening that link.

ipfs resolve -r /ipns/docs.ipfs.io/how-to/address-ipfs-on-web/: no link named "how-to" under bafybeidtd6fssleg4xnkwwvucn72sb4o3m2pmai6eu5dmspf7myy6v4hdm

There's an ongoing issue with redirects in the docs right now. Hopefully it'll get sorted shortly, but on the off chance that it doesn't we'll have to roll back my PR.

johnnymatthews commented 4 years ago

The fix is up and running @hacdias. There shouldn't be any further issues, but we can wait until tomorrow to merge this, just in case.

johnnymatthews commented 4 years ago

@jessicaschilling, if this is blocking you feel free to merge it in now :)

Sorry, didn't realize this issue was actually open!
