Thank you for submitting this issue @aeoncat, looks like your ipfs config file /Volumes/aeoncat's drive/ipfs/.ipfs/config is missing. Can you validate if it's present and is a valid JSON file?

If you do not have any data that you're afraid of loosing, you can try reinstalling and that should fix the issue. If you need to retain the data, you move /Volumes/aeoncat's drive/ipfs/.ipfs to /Volumes/aeoncat's drive/ipfs/.ipfs-backup and then restart ipfs-desktop, it should reinitialize the config, you can then move it back to backup and rename backup to .ipfs
