Thanks @pisajsura for reporting this issue you ran into. Can you please describe what you were doing when this error happened?
It seems like your .ipfs directory is corrupted somehow. This may be from a previous install, but it's hard to know more without more context.
If you're just trying to get past this issue, I would recommend trying to move your C:\Users\User\.ipfs
folder to C:\Users\User\.ipfs-backup
or similar and trying to re-run IPFS-desktop.
