Hi, just finished the video and read through the paper. Lots of interesting stuff in there. Coincidentally, I've also been doing a lot of research in this area, and I've come across a few other projects that are similar in direction:

• The Peer to Peer Streaming Protocol (PPSP) Working Group at IETF, from the authors of libswift.
• CCNx, the content-centric networking project
• Tribler: extensions to bittorrent, including some neat decentralized trust / anonymity protocols

You guys may already be aware of them, but in any case, they are good source for recent ideas in the field. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on them.

Another decent source of links is https://github.com/redecentralize/alternative-internet , though it's not as focused as the three above.
