Hi,

I am trying to upgrade hpm firmware with IPMItool 1.8.18, but it fails with this

Performing upgrade stage: Component ID 1 does not support backup Firmware upgrade procedure failed

It has the same behavior in 1.8.17 version, but in older versions it works well. HPM specification does not said that IPM Controller must support Rollback.

Is it correct behavior?

Hello Hakob,

unfortunately I cannot say whether it's correct behaviour or not, but I didn't find any commit which would make changes related to backup/rollback. Please, try to raise this issue on mailing list as people tend to read mailing list, but not issues at SF.net.
