FIX: wrap form around input and replace querySelectors with useRef

This PR includes the following fixes:

dropdown selector, input and search button are wrapped in a form element for semantic and accessibility purposes
querySelector is replaced with useRef for efficiency
images in the About section are centred when in tablet and mobile view
