There is interest in having a way of identifying whether a sport is team, individual, head-to-head, etc.

My first guess is that it should be a high-level metadata property immediately accessible for processing decisions. But should hve no effect upon the xpath structure, which should follow the same, essentially uniform, structure eg. sports-content/sports-event/player | team

At the meeting 19/3 2019 it was decided that this is already covered in SportsML 3
