stats-american-football-scoring in too many places #44

Throughout version 1 this was a sibling of all the other american-football-specific stats. Then in version 2.0 this happened:

stats-american-football-scoring
    now allowed as child of stats-american-football-offensive and stats-american-football-defensive. Usage as sibling of stats-american-football-offensive is now deprecated

I have no idea why this occured. For one thing a major upgrade should announce no deprecations. For another, the change doesn't make sense to me.

But we should decide on one other the other coz it's still in both places in version 3!

I looked into this and scoring has this attribute where the description sounds as it is an defensive action. https://github.com/iptc/sportsml-3/blob/68b246f17b2387b1d24540cafa870779e268e4a2/3.0/specification/sportsml-specific-american-football.xsd#L755

But maybe the description is not correct. I think an expert in american football need to look at this.

This is scores upon turnover, such as interception or fumble recovery. In these situations those playing the role of defense are technically now on the offensive. But the stats go to those who normally play a defensive rule. It is indeed a measure of the effectiveness of a defensive team or player.
