Clear log disables tracing #19

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run a Flash application in the authoring/browser
2. Let Vizzy receive a few lines of traces
3. press Clear Log

Vizzy won't get the rest of the traces. I have to actually restart the
application to see the traces again.

What OS do you have?
Is it 32 or 64 bit?
What is the location of Vizzy tracer? Is it in Program Files folder?
Afrer you press Clear Log, please go manually to the flashlog.txt file and open
it with some text editor. Do you see log there? Basically, what you see in
flashlog.txt should appear in Vizzy. If content differs, let me know

If you do not know flashlog.txt file location, please go to Options -> Log ->
flash log location and find it there.

Hi Sergei,

Sorry for forgetting the details, I was in a coding crunch last night ;)

OS: MAC OS X (Intel) 32
LOG: correct path and filled with proper trace

The problem seems to be happening when I test my Adobe AIR application in
the Flash authoring application. When I use Vizzy for WEB application,
clearing the log doesn't break the tracer. In short, let me do more
investigations and I get back to you.

Cheers and thanks for the quick response.

Ramin.
