Oragono might have removed this but it is still used by InspIRCd. Without it there's no way for a client to tell if the line length has been changed.

Maybe also reword "that has now also been deprecated", e.g. remove "also".

Heck yeah, LINELEN my beloved. It may make sense to explicitly document how this interacts with the boosted tag space limits at some point
