Elevation gain is way off on new version #1460

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I have upgraded to new version last week.
2.Hiked about 2.7 hours this morning, the elevation gain showed 4800 ft.
3.The elevation chart appeared ok. No error there.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should be about 2000 ft. I did not have this type of problem before.

What version of MyTracks are you using? 2.0.6 On what version of Android? On
what
phone? Nexus 5.

If possible please provide a log by uploading here.
Detailed instructions can be found here:

How can I undo the upgrade?

I have re-installed 2.0.5 and everything works as before.

Same problem here. It appears that the elevation gain calculation starts
adding from zero (0), not the starting (i.e. first non-zero) elevation point.
As a result, I always have approximately 5900 feet (my starting elevation)
added to the total elevation gain. I have confirmed this by comparing
elevation gain for the same ride before (~900 ft) and after (~6700 ft) the
2.0.6 update.

MyTracks: 2.0.6
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note II
Android: 4.3

Adding initial elevation still does not add up in may case. For example, I
hiked about 2600ft, adding my initial elevation of 1400 still didn't add up to
8800ft. Something was awefully wrong with the 2.0.6 version.

2.0.5 worked before. If it aint broken, please don't fix it.
