Getting record all wrong #1463

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go for a 3km walk
2. See that not all your walk has been recorded
3.

What is the expected output? A full map of my walk
What do you see instead? Isolated scraps. 125m covered rather than 2.8km

What version of MyTracks are you using? 2.06
On what version of Android? 4.4.2
On what phone? Nexus 4

Please provide any additional information here: Appears to be latest update.
"Smells" like an attempt to filter "random jerks" in the track (which was a
problem with the previous version), but has been done incorrectly or
over-enthusiastically.

On this morning's walk I noticed it may be related to the screen being turned
on and off. It tracked while the screen was on, created black holes when the
screen was off.

I am running Music Folder Player Full as I walk
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.zorillasoft.musicfolderplayer.d
onate&hl=en.

The problem is intermittent. Yesterday I got a perfect track under AFAICT
identical conditions.
