Being able to select language of voice frequency output #1507

I am using HTC one M8 with swedish as selected language.

Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Language -> Svenska

Unfortunately the swedish voice is still really bad,which means that while I
use the voice update in mytracks, in swedish, is totally incomprehensible.

If I change the language of the phone to english
Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Language -> English (United states) I get
the voice updates in english which is much clearer than the swedish updates.

I tried to use
Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Language -> Svenska
and then
Settings -> Accessibility->"Text-to-speech output"->"Google Text-to-speech"
settings->"Language" -> English (United states)

to get the updates in english but still the voice in mytracks speaks
incomprehensible swedish.

I would like it to be possible from mytracks menu to select the preferred
language for the voice updates on my tracks.

Sorry to hear this. We should ask the Android team to fix the text-to-speech
for swedish. Having the app use a different language from the phone can lead to
other problems.

I seems to have the same problem with Greek. My device language is set to Greek
and Google text to speech to English (US). But what I get is some
incomprehensible greek letters etc. This didn't happen in the past with Pico
TTS, but now in Lollipop (5.0.2) it's not installed. This issue was happening
in Kit Kat (4.4.4) too.
