Make data uplink optional #1515

After having used mytracks three times, it used alread 800kB uplink data.  
Since many users including me have limited data volume per month, it would be 
nice to be able to switch off the data connection.  Alternatively, it would be 
nice to be able to switch off map tiles altogether.  I don't care if this means 
that I see only a line.  I use the GPX data to geotag my images later on.

This is something we don't have control over, how much data the underlying map 
api is using.

Of course you cannot influence the data traffic of the map library.  But you 
can make using the map library optional.
