Tercile Forecast Maproom #413

Have had a couple requests for the tercile display in AA trainings.

I was thinking it would be a display option on the maproom currently named "flexible forecast." What are the arguments for having separate maprooms vs. more functionality on a single maproom?

For Python Maprooms, I don't think there is other arguments than not to overwhelm users with too many controls, options, and explanatory text (whether they always show or not depending on choices). Temporarily, we are not doing great yet with layout of map vs figures vs text vs controls, and with respect to different devices screen sizes. So as we add functionality that would impact content (e.g. here Tercile fcst shows one figure while Flex shows two), we're likely to offer so-so UX via poor layout.
