Crash when updating WaveformDialog (RM#5968) #94

ported from Redmine #5968 (created 2017-06-15) (CLOSED 2017-08-16)
  1. Select channels from a few different networks and open the WaveformDialog
  2. Select one of the networks from the dropdown to filter the display
  3. Return the the main window, and deselect all channels from that network
  4. Hit "Get Waveforms"

This causes the entire app to crash.
