Apparently Iris just nuked my public relay list! Conscious about this risk, I did not even edit my list knowingly but now it's this:
relay.snort.social Write Read
nostr.wine Write Read
nos.lol Write Read
So I have no idea what happened. I had the relay list still open on Coracle so I thought I could recover it by editing it there but apparently Coracle has its own bugs or also uses yet another standard for relay storing than Snort. I now have three different relays depending on which of these clients I use.
Coming to Iris from Snort feels like a parallel universe. On snort I have dozens blocked and muted but Iris claims zero. On Snort I have one set or relays configured yet Iris claims a different set.
It's great to learn that Iris supports private relay lists but it should also show the public relay list and communicate that it's not in danger when editing this alternate relay list.
My preferred UI would show both lists in one with checkboxes for read/write/public.
