I prefer that too. It was just quicker to change to what's in the current PR.

I may tweak it since this isn't urgent.

Yes, let's get this into a release for 4.2.12.1.

All tests passed for ub18 and cen7.

A few more tweaks to the test were needed to get things working, but everything is where it needs to be now.

@trel I've made the packages available too.

I'm going to add one additional commit to bump the version number.

For 4-2-stable, it looks like we leave the package revision number as is and only bump the plugin revision number. That is based on what I see for PREP 4.2.11.0/1.
