This will make it appear correctly to ips for the iRODS administrator.

Just looked into this. For right now, I don't think this is possible since Jargon doesn't support custom application names. See https://github.com/DICE-UNC/jargon/issues/407

indeed. will require building against a newer version of jargon itself.
